De MC-100B bestaat in feite uit twee aparte versterkers met ieder hun eigen voeding die op e e n chassis gebouwd zijn. Het is in meerdere opzichten een "zware jongen" met zijn 2 x 65. W Ultra Lineair en 2x32 W. in Triode stand. Zijn bijna 30 kg mag in dit verband ook niet onvermeld blijven.
Deze krachtpatser drijft met gemak elk denkbare luidspreker aan in zijn volledige frequentiebereik en geeft de bastonen krachtig en duidelijk weer.
